Diana Abgar. the first female diplomat

The world’s first female diplomat, Armenian writer and publicist, public figure.
Diana Abgar (Anahit Aghabekyan) became the world’s first female ambassador in 1920. in July, being appointed the Ambassador of the First Republic of Armenia to Japan and the Far East.

Born on October 12, 1859. He was the youngest of the family, the seventh child. Educated in English at Calcutta Convent for Women. In addition to Armenian and English, he also mastered Persian, Hindi,Japanese and Chinese languages.
